This beach is more than a kilometre long with an average width of 40 metres. It has a high level of occupancy in the summer season, so we recommend getting there early to grab a good spot.
This popular beach is backed by a long promenade where you will find several excellent chiringuitos and restaurants. The promenade continues past lush grassy areas for sunbathing under palm trees, fleets of little fishing boats that lie waiting on the dry sand and comfy loungers, sun beds and pedal boats that are available for bathers.
You can also take a long hike during your beach day by taking the coastal trail that goes to the city of Málaga. It’s about ten kilometres.
